Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) was founded in 1826 and is the fifth oldest hospital in the United States. Today, Yale-New Haven is a 944-bed tertiary referral center and the primary teaching hospital for the Yale University School of Medicine. The hospital is located on the main campus of Yale-New Haven Medical Center, which includes the Yale University School of Medicine, the Yale Cancer Center, the 201-bed Children’s Hospital and their administrative offices, and the 76-bed Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.
